Characteristics of PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) material:

1. Excellent high temperature resistance: able to work stably for a long time in a high temperature environment of 200-240 ℃, with very stable heat resistance. It can withstand high temperatures of 265 ℃ in the short term, and the hot deformation temperature is usually more than 265 ℃. Its melting point is between 285 ℃ and 300 ℃.

2. Super strong chemical corrosion resistance: able to resist the erosion of most strong acids, bases, oxidants, salt solutions, organic solvents, and other chemical substances. Its chemical stability is second only to polytetrafluoroethylene.

3. Excellent electrical insulation performance: It has high insulation volume resistivity and surface resistivity, low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss, and can maintain very stable electrical insulation performance over a wide range of frequencies, temperatures, and humidity. Its arc resistance is good, comparable to thermosetting plastics.

4. Excellent mechanical performance: It has extremely high strength, rigidity, hardness, excellent creep resistance and fatigue resistance, and can still maintain excellent mechanical strength at high temperatures. Under repeated stress, the performance is very stable. In addition, through modification technology, its mechanical properties such as impact strength, tensile strength, and bending strength will be significantly improved.

5. Good dimensional stability: The linear thermal expansion coefficient is small, and the molding shrinkage rate is low, ensuring the accuracy and stability of product dimensions. It has good hydrolysis resistance, extremely low water absorption rate, and is not easy to absorb water, usually only about 0.03%. It is not sensitive to humidity changes, which allows it to maintain excellent dimensional stability in humid environments, even under high temperature and humidity conditions, and can meet high-precision requirements for applications.

6. Strong flame retardancy: With an oxygen index of over 44%, it is a material with high flame retardancy and flame retardant properties. It has perfect flame retardant and fireproof properties, and can reach UL94V-0 flame retardant level without the need for flame retardants.

7. Excellent wear resistance: With low friction coefficient and self-lubricating performance, it can reduce wear. It can effectively resist friction and wear, belongs to high wear resistance characteristics, and can extend its service life.

8. Strong radiation and weather resistance: It can resist the influence of environmental factors such as UV UL and ozone, is not easy to age, and can maintain very stable mechanical properties.
